Indie Funhouse takes delivery of automated repair system / Hopes to become market leader
Ambitious Indie Funhouse has boosted its offering, having snapped up the world's first fully automated disc repair machine. The store purchased the machine, the DGM6, from the Canadian firm Disc Go Technologies in a bid to become the "market leaders" in the fast growing disc repair, according to Funhouse owner John Chambers.
Disc Go Tech claims the machine boasts the highest quality output of any single repair machine on the market. "We are very pleased with the DGM6" enthused Chambers. "It is just what he have been looking for."
"There was nothing like this on the UK market, so we had to look further afield. We feel that it will meet all of our requirements in terms of high output and reliability with a high quality of disc repair."
Chambers continued: "Up until now we feel that we have not been able to offer our customers a consistent standard of repair or a fast enough turnaround time. But now with this state of the art machine, we will be market leaders and can boast a 24 hour turnaround time for quantities of up to 500 discs whilst offering top quality repairs."
"In fact we feel so confident about this, we are making an offer to all companies in the UK," said Chambers, explaining that customers can send ten scratched games discs to the company, which will return the repaired discs by the end of the following day free of charge.
Also, for repair contracts signed with the store, Funhouse is offering rates of £1 per disc. The firm is offering interested parties the opportunity of a demonstration or sample. Funhouse can be contacted on 020 8301 6666.
