When DISC-CHECKUP is installed on your computer (see minimum system requirements to the left) it will become a full-fledged disc scanning diagnostic machine. It will determine if your DVDs, CDs and Video Game discs (excluding Blu-Ray, HD-DVD, and Playstation3 discs) will work when played. The program combines high performance scanning with easy to understand pass/fail results making it the ideal solution for home video, music, and video game retailers, libraries, and pawnbrokers looking for quick and accurate disc play verfication.
The software features a 25 disc on-screen scan history so it remembers the results, by title, even if you don't. You will also have the ability to download and print scan history reports to help you keep track of your disc inventory. Another innovative feature is the Visual Disc Error indicator which will show you where on the surface of the disc an error has occured.
So how does it all work? It's easy. Just install the compatible EIDE DVD RW+- drive into your computer or connect compatible USB2.0 DVD RW+- drive into an available USB port ‹drives sold separately› and install the software program through the helpful installation wizard. That's it! Once you insert a disc, the drive starts the scanning process. When scan is complete, the results will be displayed on screen with the easy to read Pass or Fail judgements.
